Sounds as if your summer is much like ours was last year, and here our winter has been dull and overcast, but not too cold (south coast UK) - spring flowers out already!

nothing overly special like camo outfits or anything crazy like that No jerky movements, slooooow walking approach, and sometimes a few days for the bird to get used to me seem to work. I have also been tempted to build myself a small portable bird hide to get those shy'er birds

Well summer poked its head up again yesterday ...at 33 degree it was a skorcher and made it to the beach at last. My skin color is no-where what it should be by this stage though

Your spring flowers sounds mightily confused...Hope this current odd weather does not lead to heavy bad weather this winter. We had tons of flooding and even snow in wierd places last year. I just heard it snowed somewhere in the middle east....in the desert!
