Cape Bulbul

Meet the cape Bulbul. Fairly common as long as they can get fruit. The white eyering is a dead giveaway! That is the apple in "extreme dof experiment"

Superb shot. The background color really sets off the detail of the bird and the apple.

What a good idea to fasten an apple to a post, I think I'll try it.

A really unusual bird too, what a stunning eye ring.
liam beattie: yes do try it...it really works and one they know they wont leave you alone. Oranges also good and they like nothing better than half a watermelon! A watermelon attracts all kinds from fruit eaters to nectar lovers.
